Billy Nick's last
Danny stated that the away tie against Feyenoord in the EUFA Cup Final was Bill Nicholson’s last match in charge of Spurs. I believe he stayed on til early the NEXT season, resigning as Spurs beat Derby County 2-0 (both goals from Jimmy Neighbour!). It was our first win after about 5-6 games, but Bill had already decided he was leaving. I stayed on the Shelf, with my brother Marcus, for 30 minutes after, chanting his name along with thousands of other fans. He did not reappear. I was about 15 and I was mortified at his departure, as I’d only ever known the great man being our boss. A very sad day.
THE BEST Spurs podcast - no one even comes close!
Title tells it all. …there are a few others who can break down tactics better (The Extra Inch) but none that can match the overall savvy of Danny and his crew. Look forward to it twice a week when season is on – bummed until season restarts in summer.
Postigoglu bullying
How come Postigoglu is calling out Werner against Rangers. But not calling out Sarr and Bassumma for their absolute shocking and defending against Chelsea, what a bully boy.
